Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are vital for economic growth, fostering entrepreneurship, and job creation. Women entrepreneurs within MSMEs play a crucial role, offering unique perspectives and contributing to poverty reduction. This study investigates opportunities and challenges for women in MSMEs, emphasizing empowerment strategies. Opportunities lie in identifying untapped markets, utilizing consumer trends, government support, tech adoption, and venturing into technology-based sectors. However, gender-based barriers, limited access to resources, and work-life balance difficulties persist. Empowering women entrepreneurs requires education, mentorship, policy advocacy, and societal support. The study showcases successful women entrepreneurs in India who have overcome challenges to contribute significantly to the MSME sector. In conclusion, empowering women in MSMEs necessitates collaborative efforts by governments, organizations, and individuals to create an inclusive entrepreneurial environment that fosters their success and bolsters economic growth.
