Global Warming: Can We Block Nature's March?

The term “Global Warming” has caught the imagination of the people the world over and the governmental agencies are particularly exercised about it. A kind of phobia has been built that the coming decades might turn out to be unbearably hot mainly due to accelerating civilizational activities creating “Green House Effect” in Earth's atmosphere. This paper is an attempt to disprove that the momentum towards higher temperatures has been a norm in the world climate. Contrary is true that the intermittent hotter and colder climates have prevailed during the entire past. In fact, remaining hot has been the intrinsic nature of the Earth and cooling spells are only incidental. The divine inter-play of the Great Elements has been guarding mankind against excessive heat and cold and this diluting process will go on. There should be no fear for the heated global balloon to burst due to man's follies though these should be checked. The mysterious ways of nature are beyond the purview of man to unravel and he should learn to take changing climate in stride.
