University Information Resource Centre: A Decade of Users’ Consultation

In the era of ICT, academic libraries have a great fear to lose their basic and traditional culture. Users consult university libraries for the various purposes. Today, a number of studies on use of Information Technology in libraries have been conducted but study on use of traditional services are restricted comparatively. Present paper is a study of users’ consultation of University Information Resource Centre (UIRC). Study is a step towards the traditional and core services of university library. Months as well as year-wise statistics are provided for the whole decade 2000–2010 to reveal the facts.
