Abstract

Modern quality management systems (QMS) can be extensively adapted and experimented within education. QMS are philosophies aimed at continuous improvement of performance of various attributes related to customer satisfaction. A library is part of a service organization which delivers products personally to the customer. A Total Quality Management Approach (TQM) can directly affect the needs if it is conducted wisely. From the perspective of library services, adopting quality programs increases the usefulness of the library and satisfies increasingly higher customer expectations. The present work has attempted to walk around some aspects of TQM in library service.
