The details of the existence of the Indus-Harappan Civilization with actual excavation sites, unearthed under the supervision of Sir John Marshal, are available in various ancient history books. However, I have made efforts, through my limited research to present the story of this civilization with a different perspective. My findings and submission has been based on the fact that the said civilization which has been greatly glorified like a jewel in the ancient Indian history was not a solitary event, but on the contrary an inseparable part of the long antiquity whose fore-runners had been none but the Aryans. They had not been the destroyers of the civilization as most Indian and foreign historians have claimed but certainly the founders thereof. Some hold the view that the episode was over with civilization getting buried but rather it continued with more ascendance and leaps ahead as far more progressive generations and extensive empires arose.
