There is an urgent need to foster scientific temper, rational thinking and scientific creativity among school students if we really aim for productive education in the field of science and technology. One of the objectives of science education is to develop inventiveness and creativity along with competence. To encourage creativity among children and promote scientific innovations, we must initiate the process from the grass root level and bring about radical changes in school education. For this, we first need to improve the basic infrastructure facilities in our schools as there have been reports of great amount of negligence given to the successful transaction of the curriculum due to the prevailing physical resources of the school. It should not just be the higher education level institutions to face the grudge of defunct infrastructure facilities but also the schools where the child's curiosity starts budding.
