Rickshaw art & artist-Rafiqul Islam

Rickshaw Art is a prospect of color, charm and creativity which has a great street exposure also. Rickshaw artists are aimed to decorate the vehicle with as much drama and color as possible. Rickshaw art is a people's art and its motifs are simple: religions, cinemas, animals, and landscapes. The present paper will highlight the colourful aspects of the Rickshaw Art popular in Bangladesh especially in Dhaka. The contribution of Rafiqul Bhai of Bangladesh towards Rickshaw Art has been analysed in this paper.
