Abstract

It will be injustice for the half of the population of the country if we ignore the role of women in the Indian national movement. Women of India were not lagging behind and fought with true spirit and unafraid courage and faced various tortures, exploitations, and hardships to win freedom. They played the role of speakers, marchers, campaigners and tireless volunteers. They actively participated in the processions and rallies conducted by the Indian political parties. This paper deals with bold stories of Indian women who participated fearlessly and bravely in Indian national movement.
