Women an Equal Gender in Haryana: An Analysis

In every society, we find that women and men have some status. In the pure sociological sense, status of gender does not imply rank or hierarchy but denotes only position via-avis condition in terms of rights and obligations of women and men. However, social, cultural, historical religious practices and values are the important determinants of women and men's status in the society. This paper will analyze the status of women in Haryana.
