Abstract

The present study identifies the physical fitness and its components which differentiate the medalist and non-medalist boxers. The investigator used Malhotra's et a1.(1982) Physical fitness test. Scores on the parameters referred were of 24 male boxers, 12 medalist boxers and 12 non-medalist boxers at kurukshetra university, kurukshetra inter- college boxing championship held at sports complex kurukshetra university. The data were statistically analyzed mostly men, medians, modes, standard deviations and standard errors were calculated. The test significance of the differences between groups mean't’ ratio test was applied. The. 05 and. 01 levels of significance were established as the critical ratio value for the comparison.
