Printmaking has been characterized by the continuous development of technology. Transformation of Printmaking from an industrial medium to complete creative Art practice, the role and contribution of individual Artists and groups is important. The contribution of Sanat Kar can be considered as one of the most significant and pioneer in the field of Indian Printmaking. He evolved new medium and modified different techniques according to the availability of materials in the local markets. That supported the native artists to adopt and practice different mediums of modern Printmaking. His contribution in printmaking nowadays is considered as asset for the community of International printmakers.
