Cropping patter in Buldhana district

The research entitled “Cropping pattern in Buldhana district” was carried out with the objective of studying changes in crop behaviour in the Buldhana district. The present study was based on secondary data collected from 1990–91 to 2009–10. In all 15 crops were considered and covered more than 80 percent of the total cropped area of the study area. The Simple tabular analysis was used to examine the changes in cropping patterns in various tahsils of the Buldhana district. In the majority of tahsils of Buldhana district i.e. Malkapur, Khamgaon, Nandura, and Shegaon, cropping pattern have significantly increased during the study period.
