Porcelain laminate veneers were first introduced by Charles Pinacus in 1930 s. Since then gained popularity in the field of esthetic dentistry because of the optimal esthetics, minimal preparation and durability. The advancement in dental adhesives also contributed the successes of ceramic laminates.
