oral verrucous carcinoma is a well defined type of well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Verrucous carcinoma present as slow-growing lesions that enlarge with direct extension rather than frank invasion. In the present case an exophytic growth in the buccal mucosa was excised and the defect was closed with buccal pad of fat under local anaesthesia.
