Economic Analysis of Processing Aonla Candy

The paper has studied production cost, marketing cost and profitability in aonla candy processing and has also identified the constraints in processing and marketing of aonla candy. The study is based on the data collected from post-harvest technology unit established in MPKV, Rahuri, and are for the year 2014–15. The study has revealed aonla candy processing to be a profitable venture as B-C ratio has been found 1.54. The study has suggested widening of market-network and generation of awareness among masses about the nutritional benefits of aonla candy.
