The study has analysed crop diversification and land concentration ratio in four selected tahsils, i.e. Arvi, Ashti, Devali and Samudrapur of Wardha district based on secondary data for a period of 10 years from 2005–06 to 2014–15. Herfindahl index and Entropy index were computed in the study. The results have shown that crop diversification has occurred in almost all the selected tahsils of Wardha district. The land concentration ratio has revealed that cotton is the most advantageous crop in the selected tahsils of Wardha district over other crops.
