The paper has looked into the productivity levels of cashew, across agro-climatic zones of Karnataka, a state that aims to become the largest producer of cashew by 2020. The yield gap analysis has been carried out to understand, analyse and bridge the yield gaps to enhance income of the cashew farmers. The study has indicated wide yield gaps across all the zones. It is observed that yield gaps are primarily due to non-adoption of recommended package of practices, therefore suggestions have been made to strengthen extension activity on creating awareness on adoption of improved cultivation practices to bridge yield gaps and enhance farmers’ income in the state.
