Abstract

The three districts of Nashik, Pune and Sangli in Maharashtra were selected for this study as these have the largest acreage under grape cultivation. The results reveal that most grape growers are progressive in adopting new production technologies. The percentage gap in the use of FYM was 64% while it was 25–38% in the case of NPK fertilizers. This study suggests that resources should be used optimally to obtain the desirable yield.
