This study of the changes in the agricultural labour scenario of Assam aims to estimate the CAGR of its cultivators and agricultural labourers from 1991 to 2011. It also aims to calculate the percentage change in cultivators and agricultural labourers by district from 2001 to 2011. The data is collected from various published secondary sources. From 1991 to 2011, the growth rate increased by only 2.10% for cultivators and at the rate of 5.47% for agricultural labour.
