Abstract

This study examines the factors affecting post-harvest losses in cauliflower in the Surat district of Gujarat. Using the survey method, sample data were collected from 120 cultivators. The study hypothesized the relationships among different variables using correlation and multiple regression analysis. This study found that the major causes of post-harvest losses were damage during harvest or due to pests and disease and improper cleaning, washing and handling.
