The status of the existing agro processing complexes in different regions of Punjab was studied. Data were collected with respect to the specification, annual use, product recovery and performance of different components in the complex. For convenience and based on the production and post harvest technologies used, the state has been classified into three different regions. The economics of the existing agro-processing complexes has been presented in the paper for each of the three regions.
