Existing peg tooth type multi-crop thresher with improved concave was used to thresh sunflower. Concave with oblong openings of 40 x 50 mm gave best threshing results. Output capacity of 336.50 kg/h was recorded with 100 per cent threshing efficiency and 83.50 per pent cleaning efficiency.
