One Lugged Wheel Puddler has been developed at CIAE, Bhopal for shallow puddling in black soils. With width of work 1140 mm ii gave work rate of 0.095 ha/h at 65 kg draft. Compared to puddling by “Datari” it saved 30–40% time and 50% cost of puddling/ha with improved quality of puddling.
