Abstract

A study was carried out during 1994–95 at tea gardens, located on north hank of Brahmaputra river and it was found that yield of green tea leaves had positive correlation with human energy on all the categories of gardens There was no correlation between insecticide, herbicide and pesticide and yield on medium category of garden, whereas the yield was influenced by these chemicals on small and large categories of gardens. The yield was highly influenced by urea, rockphosphate and muriate of potash on large gardens while other two categories were not influenced by these fertilizers. The yield was influenced by plant nutrient on all the three categories of gardens.
