A stand alone power supply system to be run on wind energy has been designed for a village with human population of 500 and cattle population of 200. The system will be installed in remote village in Mandvi. The package consists of wind generator, controls water pump, batteries, lights and other utilities. The system has been designed to meet the requirement of home lighting, street lighting, entertainment and water supply for the village and is estimated to cost approx. Rs.l2 lakhs.
