Some industrially important physical and engineering properties of two varieties of cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) were determined, The shape of the whole cumin seed is oblong. The length, breath, thickness, sphericity, roundness, weight per seed and volume per seed were also determined. The angle of intemal friction of cumin seeds was determined on rough, smooth and very smooth surfaces.
