An Animal Feed Block Formation machine has been developed for preparation of crop residue based complete feed blocks. The machine is powered with 25 HP electric motor. Using the machine, volume of the crop residues could be reduced in the range of 3.9 to 42 times. Savings in transportation, storage and handling costs of these residues could be made by similar factor of volume reduction.
