Field performance of micro-sprinkler in terms of uniformity as influenced by the operating pressure and micro-sprinkler spacing was evaluated. Uniformity decreased with the increase in spacing from 1.5 m X 1.5 m to 3.75 m X 3.75 m. With increase in the operating head from 0.75 to 2.0 kg/cm2, uniformity increased. For the rotating head micro-sprinkler, the spacing of 1.5 m x 1.5 m may be used with opemting head pressure of 1.0 kg/cm2 and 2.25 mx 2.25 m for 2.0 kg/cm2.
