The present study has an attempt to solve the problem of selection of agro-climatic region wise farm machinery, economic considerations and generating feasibility report for different States based on various parameters by developing suitable software. The developed software is unique and novel in calculation of various technical and economic parameters (BCR, NPV, IRR, payback period and break-even analysis) leading to decision making for establishment of technically feasible and economically viable custom hiring centres for farm machinery at various agro-climatic regions of India.
