A tamarind dehuller-cum-deseeder designed at the Post Harvest Technology Scheme, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru was evaluated for its performance at Department of Agricultural Engineering, BAU, Ranchi. The highest dehulling efficiency of 77.45% was achieved at the feed rate of 232.34 kg/h and rings clearance of 3.5 cm. In deseeding operation efficiency of 52.42% with 8.67% mechanical damage of seed was observed at the feed rate of 2 kg/min and machine clearance of 4 mm.
