Abstract

Arable land, which constitutes only 10.71% of the globe’s land surface, faces the daunting task of meeting the growing demand for food driven by an ever-increasing global population. By 2030, the world population is expected to reach 8.6 billion, and India, as the most populous country, shoulders the responsibility of supporting 17% of the human population and 15% of the livestock population. In such a scenario, farm mechanization becomes crucial to ensure food security.
