Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy generalized metric space that generalizes the corresponding notion of fuzzy metric space by George and Veeramani to the generalized metric context. Following the ideas of Bonsangue, M. M. et al.[4] notions of Cauchy sequence and Yoneda embedding in fuzzy generalized metric spaces are introduced and used to define a completion and topology of such spaces. Several basic properties of this space are obtained.
