Abstract

The incidence and severity of yellow mosaic disease was studied along with its economic impact. The detailed work on molecular detection were carried out. For the presence of MYMIV and MYMV. The survey was conducted during 2021-2022 in the major blackgram growing districts of Tamil Nadu. The results of the survey revealed that more than 90% of blackgram has been infected with YMV in Tamil Nadu.
