Abstract

Biochemical studies on Coriandrum sativum leaves affected by Alternaria leaf spot disease caused by Alternaria alternata were carried out. The present investigation was planned to estimate the biochemical changes of phenol, peroxidase and sugar in coriander leaves affected by Alternaria alternata, in Department of Plant Pathology SKNCOA, Jobner, Jaipur during rabi season 2021. A significant increase in phenol and peroxidase was recorded with increase in disease intensity, while reduction in sugar content was also observed with the increasing in disease severity.
