Abstract

Human skin, especially in a woman, always undergoes modification throughout her life cycle. The reason behind it may be many but the important point is that now-a-days women are more conscious for their looks and beauty; this is even more so with their increasing age, especially in the elite group. When the present market is filled with many cosmetic products to maintain a healthy skin, with increase in age, but at times these are associated with some or many side effects, opens up the possibility of the emerging use of sugarcane in skin care. This paper reveals the important use of natural sources like sugarcane in skin care industry as well as how it acts as a boon for enhancing beauty with the increase in age.
