A field experiment with all the field operations in plant was conducted in spring during 2012 and 2013 and next year their ratoon was kept for study at U.P Council of Sugarcane Research Farm, Shahjahanpur. The aim of the study was to find out the effect of different fertility levels on plant as well as on their subsequent ratoon crop of the various cane varieties like one early maturing (CoS 03251) and two mid - late maturing (CoS 07240 and CoS 03261). Randomized block design with three replications was adapted to conduct the experiment. Results indicated that mid -late variety CoS 07240 of sugarcane gave significantly higher values of growth and yield with the 125% recommended dose of N + P2O5 + K2 O in plant as well as their ratoon cane i.e., 86.53t/ha and 74.90 t/ha, respectively. The yield increased with increasing fertility levels upto 125% recommended N + P2O5 + K2 O. Quality and quantity of cane juice was not influence by increase in fertility levels in any of the varieties taken for study.
