Abstract

For the evaluation of endophytic biocontrol agents against sheath rot of rice an study was conducted with bacteria to find its efficacy against S. oryzae. In vitro efficacy of endophytes was evaluated and mode of action of endophytes were identified for its disease control ability. In field study the application of Seed bacterization (SB) + Seedling root dip (SRD) + Foliar spray with Endophytes @ 2.5 kg/ha at milky and boot leaf stage recorded the minimum sheath rot incidence of 72.18% compared to 60.73% in control.
