Abstract

Integrated nutrition trials on guava cv. Sardar were conducted with two levels, each of N (400 g and 600 g), Zinc (0 and 20 g) and FYM (0 and 60 kg) during two consecutive years of 2005–06 and 2006–07. Observations recorded revealed that N å 600 g, FYM 60 kg and Zinc 20 g per plant applied individually caused significant improvement in vegetative growth and weight of fruit. These attributes along with the quality traits e.g. T.S.S., vitamin C and yield per plant improved further in association of either zinc or FYM. The combination of 400g N + 60kg FYM + 20g zinc brought about significant improvement in the weight of individual fruit and yield per plant. There was an increase of 28.6% in the yield recorded under this treatment over 400g N applied alone (N1F0Z0).
