Abstract

In F1 and F2 generations high heritability estimates were recorded for fruit per plant and plant height. In F3 highest genetic advance was recorded for fruit yield, primary branches and fruit length while in F2 generation fruit yield and fruit length. Significant values for phenotypic correlation were observed in 13 out of 21 combinations in F1 generation while for genotypic correlation in 14 combination out of 21 were significant in F2 generation.
