Abstract

A field experiment entitled?? Effect of foliar spray of nutrients on yield and quality of Nagpur mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco.)” was conducted during the year 2018-19, at the FruitInstructional Farm, Department of Fruit Science, College of Horticulture and Forestry,Jhalawar. The experiment consisted of different treatments of nutrients including macro andmicro-nutrients and was laid out in Randomized Block Design. Amongst different treatments application, treatment T21 (ZnSO4 0.5 % + K2SO4 1.0 %) foliar application was foundsignificantly superior over other treatments in terms of yield and quality parameters such asnumber of fruit /tree, estimated yield (kg/tree), fruit weight, fruit length, fruit breadth, peelthickness, number of segments per fruit and juice recovery percentage. Whereas, lowest number of seed per fruit and rag percentage were also found under the same treatment. Overall, T21 treatment exhibited better fruit yield and quality of Nagpur mandarin fruit tree.
