Abstract

A field experiment was conducted on an alluvial soil to study the effect of potassium and boron on yield, quality and uptake of nutrients in cauliflower at Bichpuri (Agra) during rabi season of 2005–07. Application of K and B significantly increased the curd and dry matter yield up to 90 kg K20 and 2 kg B ha−1• Protein content and yield of curd increased significantly with K and B application. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and boron uptake increased significantly up to 90 kg K20 and 2 kg B ha−1 application.
