Abstract

Based on the findings of present investigation it can be concluded that good diversity and variability was present in the genotypes and for tuber yield Kufri Chipsona-1, J/93–139, Kufri Chipsona-2, J/95–229, J/96–171, and Kufri Anand were promising genotypes whereas, quality wise Kufri Chipsona-1, Kufri Chipsona-2, J/92–159, J/95–229, J/93–139 and J/95–144 were found superior. Based on the overall performance for yield and quality traits, genotypes Kufri Chipsona-1 and Kufri Chipsona-2 can be recommended for commercial cultivation for central region of Uttar Pradesh.
