Abstract

A field trial on gladiolus was conducted to see the influence of vermicompost and various bio-control agents on growth and flowering attributed at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus Saharanpur U.P during 2013–14 & 2014–15. The Treatment were control Trichoderma, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Vermicompost, Trichoderma + Pseudomonas, Trichoderma+Vermicompost, Trichoderma+Pseudomonas+Vermicompost. Experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three replications. Early sprouting was recorded with treatment Trichoder mamaximum length of longest leaf (46.30cm) and maximum number of leaf were recorded with Trichoderma + Pseudomonas+Vermi compost. The earliest opening of first florate and maximum length of spike and maximum number offlorate were recorded with Treatment T.harzianum + P.fluorescens + Vermicompost. It is note that application of various bio control agents alone or in combination. Vermi compost was found beneficial to improve plant growth and various flowering parameters.
