Pattern of litter fall and its nutrient elements were investigated in 12 years old C. equisetifoila plantation over 2 years. The total mean annual leaf fall was (1036.04 gm-2 year-1) in 2012–2014. Of this litter leaves constituted major portion of litter (69.89%)-(71.23%) leaf litter fall was higher in January and February in both years. In nutrient composition of fallen leaf litter the higher amount of Nitrogen (1.13%), (1.17) was recorded in the month of November and August in both the years. The value of phosphorus (0.21%), (0.22%) composition fallen leaf litter was generally higher during August and December, the Potassium (0.25%), (0.28) was recorded higher value in month of January and November during 2012–2013 and 2013–2014 respectively.
