Field studies were carried out to evaluated the efficacy of insecticide and biopesticides such as Chloropyriphos 20 EC, Triazophos 40 EC, Lambdacyholothrin 2.5% EC, Imidacloprid 17.8 SL, Spinosad 45 SC, Metarrhizium anisopliae 2X109 CFU, Beauveriabassiana2X109 CFU and Neem oil 0.1% against aphids (Aphis gossypii G.) on okra crop. Seeds of okra were sown in randomized block design with 3 replications. The pre-treatment observation was recorded at one days before spray while the post treatment observation were recorded 3, 7 and 15 days after spray. The data revealed that all of the treatment were effective against aphids population. The most effective treatment was Imidacloprid 17.8 SL while lowest effective treatment was Metarrhizium anisopliae 2X109 CFU.
