Population build up of aphid (Aphis gossypii) in relation to abiotic factors on brinjal was studied during kharif, 2013 and 2014 at Crop Research Center, SVPUA&T, Meerut in a randomized block design with three replication. The aphid population recorded from second fortnight of july till the harvest of crop. The results of two consecutive years revealed that the aphid population fluctuated to a great extent not only from year to year but also in different months. Population increased considerably during the month of August and September and decreased in October and November. The maximum temperature, minimum temperature and evening relative humidity showed a positive correlation with the population of aphid during both the years and negative correlation with morning relative humidity and rainfall during first year however morning humidity and rainfall showed positive correlation during second year.
