Abstract

Wide variety of foreign bodies from the lower urinary tract are inserted or applied for sexual stimulation, therapeutic purpose or by patients with psychiatric disturbances. Most of them have a delayed presentation due to embarrassment and usually present themselves when a complication had occurred from the foreign body such as difficulty in voiding, pain, haematuria, swelling, extravasations or abscess formation. We present a case of a thermometer being introduced into the bladder and its management.
