Abstract

In evaluation studies on ten low chilling peach genotypes for two consecutive years 2013–2014 and 2014–15 Tropic Sweet recorded maximum (7.70 and 8.48 kg) while Saharanpur Prabhat recorded minimum yield per tree (5.57 and 6.40 kg) during both the years respectively. On the basis of overall quality genotypes Tropic Snow and Tropic Sweet were found better than other genotypes viz Saharanpur Prabhat, Earli Grande and Florida Prince. The genotype Tropic Sweet recorded highest yield and performed better for other important horticultural traits among different genotypes and may be suggested for cultivation in mid-hill conditions of Himachal Pradesh.
