Present world is witnessing fast changing scenario due to digital revolution which has produced a demanding thought to use it for betterment of mankind. With the advent of recent modern information and communication technologies it has made farmers empowered in this growing information world. These technologies can only be used when the farmers are equipped with modern ICT tools. Any ICT initiative can be successful when the farmers are empowered. It is important to check whether the farmers are mentally, physically and electronically prepared for adopting these modern ICT tools and technologies. The article examines the concept of e-readiness in terms of accessibility and preparedness of agricultural stakeholders for reducing the period of decision making.
