Abstract

The present study deals with the Customer Center Executives of two BPOs in Delhi. A sample of 30 subjects were selected from 2 BPOs in Delhi and were administered the Beck's Depression Scale and the Beck's Anxiety Scale. The analysis showed clearly that the BPO Customer Service Executives were having moderate to high depression and also manifested moderate anxiety. The authors argue that as compared to the earlier similar studies, in the present research, the anxiety and depression appear to have increased which aspect they attribute to the increasing stressful life in the metropolitan cities.
